I was born in Mantova in 1980.
I grew up in Ostia, but I have also lived in Rome, Naples and London.
Now I live in Rome with my wife Gaia and our little Cristina.
I have graduated in “Scienze Internazionali e Diplomatiche” (International Relations) at the Istituto Orientale in Naples.
I have studied International Development at the School of Oriental and African Studies in London.
I am very proficient in English, and I can speak French fluently.

VISUAL COMMUNICATION

I have studied Graphic Design at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Rome.
I have worked for Ideamorposhy for two years, under the creative direction of Massimo Desantis.
Among the clients there were: SDA, Poste Italiane, Regione Abruzzo, Trenitalia (the biggest train operator in Italy), Italia Logistica, Ministero per le Politiche Agricole e Forestali (the Italian Ministry for natural resources).
I have worked for Estrogeni for a year, under the creative direction of of Agostino Santacroce and Alfredo Borrelli. Among our customers there were: Wind (one of the biggest Italian telecom operators), Soratte Outlet Shopping, Presidenza del Consiglio (the Italian Prime Minister’s cabinet), Amnesty International, Unora. I have been working closely with Pepe Nymi, a Milan-based agency specialized in design and advertising that serves: Rizzoli, RCS, Corriere della Sera and Mediaset.
I have been active as freelance for many years. My fields of specialization are: advertising, graphic design and illustration.

MUSIC

When I started playing the double bass, I became immediately interested in Klezmer and Balkan music, and I started cooperating with bands, such as La Mescla e She’Koyok.
I have studied jazz at the Saint Louis College in Rome, and privately with Gianluigi Goglia, Aldo Vigorito and Gianluca Renzi.
I have attended seminars held by: Kenny Werner, Mark Turner, John Patitucci, Ben Allison, Maurizio Gianmarco, Paolino Dalla Porta, Piero Leveratto, Furio Di Castri.

I am involved in many original music projects with other musicians active in Rome, such as Marco Bonini, Ermanno Baron, Antonello Sorrentino, Danielle DI Majo, Francesco Diodati, Emiliano Caroselli, Ludovica Manzo, Marta Capponi, Giuliano Ferrari, Pasquale Innarella, Francesco Lo Cascio, Stefano Corrias.
